Sacred Earth is a song cycle for voice and orchestra, composed for J'Nai Bridges, about the sanctity of the world and our relationship to nature. The work is in five movements; texts include William Blake's "The Lamb", Joseph Edwards Carpenter's "The Whale", Emily Dickinson's "Hope is the thing with feathers" as well as the Latin Dona nobis pacem.
